It’s BeBe Day and you’re invite to the most blingtastic party of the year!
In 2021, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey honored international recording artist, TV personality, activist, and drag pioneer, BeBe Zahara Benet, by proclaiming November 13 BeBe Day in Minneapolis. The event coincided with BeBe’s 20th anniversary of performing in the drag art form. BeBe’s Bling Ball is an inclusive celebration that commemorates this special day.
Presented by The Lavish Lab and hosted at Glass House, the event will be a spectacle rooted in music and performance art. Cousin Christopher and DJ Che will battle the night away, spinning the hottest house and afrobeat music, while guests dance and enjoy the immersive experience.
A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will go to support the Roho Collective, a network for artists of color in the Twin Cities serving as a consolidated voice and platform for both emerging and professional artists of color and providing a place for artist and business development, professional growth, and programming.
Dress code: bling couture. Come dressed in your boldest and best blingy, bedazzled looks that sparkle.
