Building history

The heart and soul of this entire building was formed around glass. Glass is what built this house, and glass is this centre’s past, present, and its future.

1955

Ford-McNutt Glass Company, the same firm that designed the Foshay Tower, started their legacy of glass blowing in this 30,000 square-foot industrial warehouse.

2016

Hennepin Made purchased and renovated the space by converting the back half of the building into a vertical integrated glass blowing studio, and the front half as a space to gather and show off the studio’s work.

Today

Today, Glass House becomes a catalyst by merging creativity with business through cultural exchange. To set parameters that empower people to think creatively. We are a space for ideas, experiences, and the people behind them.
